Too big square to too small
I would have graded 5 stars if it weren't for the stitching on the shaft being white instead of black. I believe that this is perhaps a manufacturer change to the model of the boot for the newer year, along with an older pic on this website. This didn't concern me much as the plan is to wear pants over the shaft anyway, but the black on black would look cooler. the stitching on the front of boot is black, so that works well. I ended up returning because the toe was a little more narrow, and protruded further than i wanted. I was (am) looking for a pair with perhaps a wider square toe with less forward extension. My plan is to wear with office business casual attire, and while they hit the mark for that use, the toe extension was not the style for me. if you are looking for a pair of black boots for similiar reasons as i am, these may work well for you. I am currently working with customer service at yeehawcowboy to help select the best boot for me. As far as fitting is concerned. the size I order is my numeric boot size. i normally wear a 10D in boots and anywhere a 10.5 -11 in shoes and 11 - 11.5 in sneakers (depending on brand). These are a 10EE since they do not have D sizes. they fit great, and while i normally I wear taller/ thicker socks with cowboy boots, they probably would have fit with thinner socks. don't be worried about the EE size, the difference if minimal in comparison to a D, and your feet might actually prefer ever so slight size upgrade.
